The Malaysian Pole Weaving hair extensions technique is also known as the Christina Method.
Christina Jenkins invented this idea in 1951 and traveled the world to teach people how to perform this extraordinary method. Today only a handful of people offer this technique, Josette Desrosiers not only performs this technique on her clients, she educates and certifies others as well!
How are the Extensions Applied?
This process is a unique extension method that can involve the use of a special hair weaving machine that entwines string with the client’s hair to create a flat base across their head. The machine or Hand-Tied weft is then sewn into the base for a more natural look. The Malaysian Method is a unique sewing technique that ties wefts onto your own hair without the use of chemicals or bonding agents to secure them. By carefully sectioning the hair and applying the extensions precisely, Hair can be brushed , shampooed and styled without worrying about damaging the follicle or weakening hair shafts.
